Driven shooting is offered in diverse habitats: wooded parkland, steep glens, rolling hills, and open moorland, and all levels of experience are accomodated. Hospitality is top-notch, and the accommodations are spectacular. The shooting lodges and castles are unforgettable. But Scotland isn’t all about driven shooting. Spey Side

Perthshire
Perthshire is the gateway to the Highlands and the Cairngorms National Park. Wide river valleys and steep woods mingled with rolling moorlands make for a diverse variety of estates and drives. The Shoot Lodge is in the center of Dunkeld, on the River Tay, immersed in the local culture.

Just a brief note to thank you for the fabulous trip to Glenmuick, Scotland. The venue was just stunningly beautiful and your organizational skills were very apparent. The birds, high and fast, were challenging but shootable with my small skillset. Delaney and Sons is the best organized most professional group I’ve ever shot with. We have never felt as welcome and comfortable as those times spent with Liz and Sean Delaney. After our arrival in the various venues, every detail and need was attended to efficiently, including firearm transport. Janie in particularly was put at ease by the presence of other like- minded lady shooters. Regardless the venue, the shooting was beyond what we could have imagined. After a robust “shooting lunch”, the day inevitably ended with a sumptuous meal at a local lodge or grand residence. We look forward to a reprise of the Spain partridge shoot next January and joining old friends.

I have had the distinct pleasure of shooting with Sean and Liz (and their son Hank who was my stuffer in Wales) in both Wales and Perthshire and will be shooting with them in Spain in January 2021. Sean and Liz offer the absolutely perfect combination of multiple estates, well presented birds and properly organized shoots, superb accommodations and food, and congenial shooting (and non-shooting) partners. They work very hard, and definitely succeed, to make sure that every part of the shooting holiday is a wonderfully memorable experience. Sean and Liz love what they do and it shows. You very much feel like guests and not customers. I will be a long time guest.

Just wanted to say thank Liz and Jon so much for organizing such a great trip. It must take a Herculean effort to make everything flow so seamlessly. I would also like to extend a warm thanks to the entire group, from the lovely young Kathryn who bagged her first bird to the old sage Perry, a veteran of many driven shoots. A more nicer, genuine, intelligent, and engaging group there could possibly be. Cosmic alignment perhaps? And to all the great estates and the wonderful people who allowed us to be immersed into what truly is a way of life. We will be back!
